YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED TO ATTEND A MEETING OF CASTOR PARISH COUNCIL TO BE HELD in the Cedar Centre on Thursday 7th July 2022 at 7.30PM FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRANSACTING THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS:

MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO WISH TO ATTEND THE MEETING OR ADDRESS THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE ADVISED TO NOTIFY THE CLERK IN ADVANCE (Preferably before mid-day of the day of the meeting) in order that appropriate facilities are made available if required:

Presentation before the start of the Parish council meeting – Andrew MacDermott of Nene Park Trust has confirmed his attendance to share the Trusts Plans for the Woodland Site

 

 

  • Note attendance and receive apologies for absence. –

 

  • declarations of interest on items on this agenda and approve dispensations to members.

 

 

  • Matters arising from the minutes of the previous meetings (if Any) (Information Only).

 

  • PUBLIC FORUM – Opportunity for public questions or presentations to the council –
·        Public participation is limited to items that appear on the agenda OR to request an item for a future agenda.

·        unless directed by the chairman, public participation shall be limited to 15 minutes with each person speaking for no longer than 5 minutes.

  1. Neighbourhood planning (standing item) – To consider if any further action is required by, or related to the review of, the present NP.

 

  1. Status report – update on planning applications previously considered 2021/22 financial year.

 

  1. Planning Applications – to consider, as statutory consultees, planning applications received since the previous meeting.

 

  • No Planning Applications made Valid in June 2022 according to portal monthly report

 

  1. Woodlands Development
    • To consider any feedback on the Land swap proposal. (If Any)
    • to consider latest developments on plans for the Woodlands site.

 

  • Land and Allotments
    1. Allotments – to consider a report from the working group on occupancy and condition of allotment holdings with recommendations for renumbering and letting of vacant plots.
    2. Tree Safety report – John Wilcockson has confirmed that our tree safety report is due this year and has offered 22nd August as a date in his diary if we wish him to undertake the work
    3. Land Management tender- to consider inviting tenders for the annual maintenance work (Possibly to include any work arising from the tree safety report)

 

  • HIGHWAYS & Public Rights of Way
    1. Observations from Councillors (if any).

 

  • Community Matters:
    1. Joint Parish Liaison Group (JPLG) to agree the draft summary of the meeting held on 8th To also note the date set for the next meeting is 28th September
    2. Langdyke Trust Wildlife Recovery Project – update on progress – Vice Chairman to report progress on the Nature (if any since the last meeting).
    3. Removal of Fallen Tree – Ferryfields – cost to be recovered from PCC
    4. Play area equipment – feedback report by Kompan regarding the Roundabout
    5. Castor & Ailsworth Fete – To consider arrangements, specific material for publicity and consultation together with staffing of stand for the event
    6. Standing Stones
  1. Water Leak – To consider any update from Anglian Water
  2. Information boards –

  • Date of Next Meeting – 1st September,2022 dependent on need for an August meeting to consider urgent Planning Applications where consultation not extended to after the September meeting.
