3) Minutes of the previous meeting – To Consider a resolution to approve the minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 6th March, 2025

6) PLANNING and associated matters:
a) Peterborough Local Plan Cllr Shaw to report on the public meeting held on Monday 24th March and provide an update on recent developments (if any)
b) Joint community Action Plan (standing item) – To consider, and if appropriate, consider any actions arising from the approved notes of the January Meeting with Ailsworth Parish Council.
c) Neighbourhood planning (standing item) & CNP Review – To receive an update from the Cllr. Shaw and consider any response to the revisions, suggested by Gemma Wildman, approved at the previous meeting.
d) Planning Applications Status report – to note the changes to the report presented to Parish council at the previous meeting.
e) Planning Applications – to consider, as statutory consultees, planning applications received since the previous meeting.
i 25/00203/HHFUL – Thornfields, Peterborough Road – Extensions and alterations to the existing dwelling to improve the internal accommodation and to provide an annex structure and guest accommodation in place of existing outbuildings.
ii 25/00280/HHFUL – 5 The Green – Replacement of conservatory and single-storey extension.
iii 25/00308/CTR – 41 Peterborough Road – T1- To remove the tree as is in serious decline, dropping branches, with very little foliage and rot in the base
f) Woodlands Developments –

7) LAND AND ALLOTMENTS –
a) Thorolds Paddock –
i To consider the objection by Mr. Leo Nelson to the approved use of the paddock
ii To receive an update on the progress of plans by Mr. Parker in bringing the approved use to fruition
b) Ferryfields – Access Road (R21) – Chairman & Clerk to report progress (If any)
c) Parish Councillors Observations – To consider any other Land & Allotment related Observations from Parish councillors.
8) HIGHWAYS & Public Rights of Way –
a) Councillors Observations – To consider any Highway related Observations from Parish councillors.
9) COMMUNITY MATTERS:
a) Anti-social behaviour – Update report on Graffiti.
b) Joint Parish Liaison Group (JPLG) – standing item – to approve, or request a change to, the agenda of the next meeting with Ailsworth parish councillors currently scheduled for 15th May
c) The Big Clean 2025 – Chairman to report on the Litter pick held on March 22nd
d) Langdyke Trust Nature Recovery Project – to consider progress on purchase of equipment financed by grant received & approve the security arrangements for that equipment.
e) Thorolds Paddock – Memorial Tree /Bench & Fencing off the memorial bench / rest area adjacent to Peterborough – Cllr. Elliott to report on discussions with the events team & arrangements for an “Official Opening” & commemoration .
f) VE day 80 – Events committee – request for funding
g) Village Hall – Briefing Paper from John Norris
10) GOVERNANCE MATTERS: –
a) Parish Council Vacancy – To consider any interests declared in filling the vacancy arising from the resignation of former councillor, Dennis Surgeon.
b) Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) – to instruct the Clerk on completion of the Annual Governance Statement – Section ONE, page 4 of the return
c) Budgetary Control report as at the year end – This meeting is being held very close to the financial year end, 31st March. It is unlikely therefore that all the information will be available to complete a year end report but IF AVAILABLE it will be circulated to councillors, and published on the website, for consideration
11) TO RECEIVE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS, correspondence of note, notices, or; reports from chairman, clerk, or councillors.

13) Dates of Next & Future Meetings – previously scheduled for 1st May, 2025 will have to be relocated or rescheduled for a later date as the cedar centre will be a polling station for elections to be held on that date. NOTE This is also the Annual Parish Council Meeting and usually the same date as the Annual Parish Meeting
