  • ADDITION to RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPRESENTATION ON, OR WORK WITH, EXTERNAL BODIES To note the request of the vice chairman to add Nature Recovery Project to the list and allocate responsibility to Anker & Rowlands
  • PLANNING and associated matters:
    1. Joint community Action Plan (standing item) – To note the contents of the approved JCAP remains unchanged since the version approved at the last meeting and to consider any action now required.
  1. Neighbourhood planning (standing item)To consider if any further action is required by, or related to the review of, the present NP.
  1. Status report – update on planning applications previously considered by the parish council
  1. Planning Applications – to consider, as statutory consultees, planning applications received since the previous meeting. At the time of drafting the agenda there were no new planning applications to consider.
  1. Woodlands Developmentto consider latest known status of plans for the Woodlands site
  • Land and Allotments
    1. Cricket Club Leaseto consider the draft heads of terms suggested by the Cricket Club and the Clubs suggestion to share a solicitor
    2. Land Search by Peterborough Society of Model Engineers Ltd. To determine the response to the request by the society for land to rebuild the miniature Railway
    3. Ferryfields – Gunwade Ferry & Robin Hood – To consider tender submitted by NJPacey for maintenance work
    4. Parish Councillors Observations – To consider any other Land & Allotment related Observations from Parish councillors.

 

  • HIGHWAYS & Public Rights of Way – Councillors Observations 
  • Community Matters:
    1. Joint Parish Liaison Group (JPLG) – to note that the draft agenda includes Defibrillator VETS at the request of Ailsworth PC and to consider any further additions
  1. Langdyke Trust Wildlife Recovery Project – to consider a further update (if any)
  1. Standing Stones
    1. Information boards – update on progress (If any)

 

  1. Castor and Ailsworth Fete – To consider the extent of Parish council involvement in this year’s fete

 

  • Governance Matters:
    1. Banking arrangements – At the time of drafting the agenda parish council reserves were £116,700 of which £85000 is on 95 day notice deposit account. readily accessible is £31,300 with a further £16000 due in October by way of precept and grants (total £47k). Parish council budget to spend £58100. Parish council to consider if, and when, it is appropriate to give 95 notice on part of the funds on deposit

 

  • To receive official announcements, correspondence of note, notices, or; reports from chairman, clerk, or councillors.
    1. Peterborough City Council Scrutiny co-option of Parish Councillors – item at the request of the Chairman

 

  • Future agenda items
    1. Review of Cricket Club Lease

 

  • Date of Next Meeting – scheduled to take place on 6th July 2023 in the Cedar Centre but is recommended to be rescheduled to 20th July (There is normally no meeting in August).
