  • Minutes of the previous meeting – To Consider a resolution to approve the minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 5th September, 2024

  • PLANNING and associated matters:
    1. Peterborough Local Plan Cllr Shaw to provide an update on recent developments & report on the briefing meeting for parish councils held on 11th September in the Town Hall.
  1. Joint community Action Plan (standing item) – To Note and approve revised draft document and consider any actions required.
  2. Neighbourhood planning (standing item) & CNP ReviewTo receive an update from the Cllr. Shaw and consider any further action required.
  3. Planning Applications Status report – to note changes to the report presented to Parish council at the previous meeting .
  4. Planning Applications – to consider, as statutory consultees, planning applications received since the previous meeting.
  • 24/01151/HHHUL – 6 Front and rear single storey extensions.
  • 24/01153/CTR7 Church Hill – Fell dead elm (T1 and T2), fell spindly elm (T3), fell conifer (T4), western red cedar reduce by approx. 2m in height and trim sides (T5) and large holly reduce 1.5m and trim sides (T6).
  1. Woodlands Developments
    • 23/00111/R4FUL  to consider latest status of this planning application
    • Care Home application
    • Tennis Club proposals
  • Land and Allotments
  1. Thorolds Paddock – To consider any expressions of interest in leasing this field
  2. Allotments – to note that invoices for the current year (commencing 1st October) have been sent to tenants and one has expressed a wish to terminate the tenancy. To note tenant’s offer or request Clearance.
  3. Ferryfields – To consider (in Principle) whether to lease Ferryfields to Nene Park Trust (NPT).
  4. Ferryfields Access road (R21) – To consider parish council views on city council option to lease R21 to NPT.
  5. Parish Councillors Observations – To consider any other Land & Allotment related Observations from Parish councillors.

 

  • HIGHWAYS & Public Rights of Way
    1. Allotment Lane – retractable Post -update- Chairman to report
    2. Allotment Lane – Orphaned Wall – update – (if any)
    3. Allotment Lane – Hedge & Overhanging Trees – item requested by Cllr. Baxter
    4. Cow Lane – Fallen tree and “Bye-Way” sign post

  • Community Matters:
  1. Anti-social behaviour – Update report on Graffiti.
  2. Joint Parish Liaison Group (JPLG) – to note, and approve, the draft Summary of the meeting to be held on 19th September 2024.

 Cricket Club (C&ACC)

    1. To confirm, as Freehold Landlords, support for installation of Solar Panels on the pavilion roof.
    2. To Consider C&ACC proposal for new gate on Port Lane (David Arthurs email of 25th September circulated to all parish councillors)
  1. Langdyke Trust Nature Recovery Project to receive an update report on progress at the Paddock, Splash Lane.
  2. Gold ringto note the ring is now on loan to St Kyneburgha PCC and on display in the Church
  • Governance Matters: –
  1. Tender opening – To receive the tenders for Allotment lane Hedge and Tree Trimming and if appropriate appoint a contractor to carry out the desired work.
  2. Assets of Community Value (AoCV) – To note current position of further information required to satisfy the criteria – To consider further submission to the City Council.

 

  1. CAPALC conference – To receive feedback from Cllr Rowlands and the Clerk.
